According to Mission Tokyo, Dragon Ball Super might be up to 100 episodes if Toei Animation gets its way.

Things could go well and the series becomes another hit the company assured that fans could expect additional episodes in addition to the 100 episodes they had set as the minimum. Also, according Fuji TV the news series will still target the children as their market.

Meanwhile, Fuji TV producer Osamu Nozaki who together with Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama was behind the new series stated that “Dragon Ball Super could feature villains even more powerful than the ones seen in Dragon Ball Z”.Furthermore fans might see Goku and Vegeta in their new Super Saiyan God forms considering the events of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z.

Dragon Ball Super is the continuation of the Dragon Ball series created by Toriyama in 1984. The Dragon Ball was a popular manga until it became a popular anime in 1986 and became in “Dragon Ball Z”.
